Lorne Film is a three-day film festival held in the Victorian coastal town of Lorne, Victoria, Australia, over a weekend in November, with the inaugural festival to be held from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2013. Lorne Film’s aims are to create and nurture film culture and commerce in Lorne and the Otway region for the duration of the festival and beyond. Lorne Film intends to achieve this through screenings, workshops, live screenplay readings, a digital filmmaking competition (Lorne Shoot) and Lorne Film Scholarships.
