Eastern Tv News is a pioneer electronic media organization currently having production, Live transmission and studio facilities in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar in Pakistan. It was the managed service provider for the BBC in Kabul, Afghanistan with and independent state of the art uplink station from 2007 - 2010 and did its key operations from within Afghanistan and it nourished and nurtured its operation till its maturity level. ETN provides, camera crews, editing and uplink facilities to international broadcasters to aid their coverage. It was the first agency to cover the first and last exclusive interview of "Osama Bin Laden" in Afghanistan for Al-Jazeera Tv Channel and exclusive coverage of the Afghan war for WTN London. ETN headed the bureau of World Wide Television News (WTN) in Pakistan for several years till its merger with APTN, which was also headed for a year by ETN. More than 75 multi culturual employees work under its umbrella. ETN trained several correspondents of international channels in Pakistan like for Al-Jazeera, MBC, Al-Arabiya, Oman Tv, Nile Tv Saudi Tv, Press Tv. Channels bureaus that started from ETN's office who are now heading independent offices within Islamabad at large scales.
