It’s the radio program where you work on your business rather than in it. Small Biz Matters with Alexi Boyd broadcasts each Tuesday 9am live in the Triple H 100.1FM Radio Studio in Hornsby, Northern Sydney. A labour of love, Alexi wanted to give back to the small business community when she discovered information and support was lacking. Over the last four + years the radio show has produced over 120 podcasts (50 on iTunes and growing!) and provides a free small business calendar with over 40 events each month. Guests include those who have expertise to share with listeners or an inspirational story to tell. Previously they have included industry experts in innovation & tech, finance, law, sales & marketing, social media, authors, politicians, and many more. We have yet to repeat a topic. Recent successes include being invited to be a broadcaster for the ATO; interviewing their heads of department to educate businesses on how the ATO can work with small business to support, educate and inform. The benefit of appearing on Small Biz Matters as a guest is utilising the marketing for each radio show (advertised weekly on LinkedIn and FB) plus each show is podcast via iTunes, the Small Biz Matters website & YouTube Channel.
