The Economic Lead, launched in 2021, is already an award-winning and first-of-its-kind BAME-founded research company in Scotland. BAME is an abbreviation for Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic. The word is most widely used in the United Kingdom, where it encompasses the diverse experiences of over 7.6 million people. It applies to people of African, Caribbean, South American, South Asian, and East Asian origin. We are the initial point of contact for obtaining information and communicating insights, and we provide community-based initiatives designed to identify and solve particular concerns. We intend to assist in creating a link between local governments and these groups by making decision makers aware of the concerns and needs of Scotland's minority-ethnics and marginalised (MEM) groups. We offer services in three primary areas: MEM Scotland Research, Academic Research & Support, and Research & Consulting. - We recognize and address issues confronting Scotland's marginalised and ethnic minorities, ensuring that they have equitable access to resources, safety, and authority. - We offer educational establishments researcher supportive services, such as: Academic Research, Academic writing, Proofreading, Proposal preparation and Sourcing & Applying to academic conferences and networking events. - We contribute research knowledge to both new and ongoing projects, such as: Strategic Frameworks, Competitor Analysis, Primary research, Benchmarking, Data Visualization and Report Recommendations. All incomes earned from Research & Consulting, and Academic Support services, are reinvested into the organisation where we can further our community development work in the minority ethnic and marginalised community of Scotland.
