Objectives : APCA is established: 1) to promote quality education for both the training and ongoing development of counsellors and to raise counselling standards by advocating the registration of counsellors for the benefit of the community as a whole and those who receive counselling within it. 2) to advance research in the fields of counselling and mental health in order to promote an ethical and evidence-based counselling practice.
